Every year we look forward to award season. Knowing we only work with some of the best brands in the hair care industry, we get to see our products receive the recognition they deserve every year. We love celebrating the success of our suppliers, and this month is no different.
The Hair Awards winners of 2023 are soon to be announced, and we are sitting on the edge of our seats to see how many of our products have got on. So, while waiting, we thought we would introduce you to one of the most respected awards in the hair care industry so you can get in on the excitement too!
What Are The Hair Awards?
Recognising the hair heroes of the high street and salons up and down the country, the Hair Awards is the insider's guide to the top products and people in the hair world. With categories ranging from the best shampoos to Britain's most talented stylists, an award from Hair magazine – voted for by readers and top industry names – is the ultimate honour.
There are two main categories: The Hot 100 and The Cut.
The Hot 100 is all about the high street and professional products. There are 100 categories, and each product can be entered into more than one. Entries are submitted by readers, stylists, or manufacturers, and each product is shortlisted and then sent to a panel of testers.
The Cut is all about the skills and talent of the UK's best hairstylist. Being nominated for this award is a tribute to the dedication stylists up and down the county put in for their clients to achieve the most incredible looks. This award is open to all hair professionals and stylists with 18 categories, including the best colour expert and sustainable salons.
